Project Starship Privacy Policy
How the current Android game handles accounts, gameplay, purchases, advertising and your choices.

Who we are
Collapsar Studios operates Project Starship, Android package com.collapsarstudios.projectstarship. Contact support@collapsarstudios.com about privacy or your game account. This policy describes the current Android game and the support and account-deletion resources on this website.
Accounts and sign-in
Project Starship uses Google Play Games Services for authentication and Microsoft PlayFab to create and identify your game account. These services process player identifiers, gamer identity and authentication information. The game attempts sign-in at startup and offers sign-in controls in Settings. PlayFab may process login IP addresses, login outcomes and approximate location derived from IP addresses for account operation and security. Your in-game Commander alias is generated by the game and is distinct from your Google Play Games display name.
Game data and public gameplay
Our services use PlayFab and Microsoft Azure Functions and Blob storage to process and store account-linked progression, ship equipment and combat builds, competitive ratings and results, Fleet membership and roles, Assault and War participation, currencies, entitlements and rewards. We use this data to operate the game, maintain fair results, synchronize account state and prevent duplicate grants or abuse.
Other players can see selected Commander profile, ship, progression, rating, roster and participation information through competitive and Fleet features. Player-created Fleet names and tags appear in Fleet discovery and gameplay. Predefined Fleet Signals are visible to Fleet members with associated sender and activity information.
Project Starship does not currently provide free-text chat, direct messages, voice chat, or user image/file uploads. The game does not collect precise GPS location, access your contacts or collect health data.
Purchases and virtual items
Google Play handles payments. We process product identifiers, purchase verification proofs, account associations, purchase history, entitlements and grant/completion status to validate purchases, deliver virtual items, restore applicable ownership and prevent duplicate processing. Our services retain account-linked hashed purchase references and idempotency records; these are not anonymous merely because they are hashed. Purchase proofs are transmitted for verification, while the project purchase ledger retains hashes rather than raw purchase tokens. Payment-card or bank details entered in Google's payment interface are not returned to the game's purchase code.
Rewarded ads and privacy choices
You may choose rewarded advertising delivered by Google AdMob. The game requests non-personalized ads, but this does not mean advertising involves no identifiers or data processing. Google's Mobile Ads SDK processes IP addresses (including approximate location), device/account identifiers such as advertising and app-set IDs, interactions such as taps and video views, and performance diagnostics for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.
Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) refreshes consent information at game launch and when you enter Settings, including before you choose an ad. When UMP requires it, Settings offers Privacy Options to revisit Google's privacy form. Ads remain subject to Google's consent eligibility checks. Android also provides advertising-ID controls; these controls do not delete your game account.
To validate an ad reward, our server-side verification flow sends Google an account identifier and server-issued claim data and checks Google's signed callback. We retain claim, reward, transaction-reference and reconciliation information to deliver a reward once and enforce eligibility. Ad-Free ownership is not an app-wide privacy or analytics opt-out.
Diagnostics, website visits and support
Google Play Games Services and AdMob process SDK diagnostic information. Our service keeps bounded, sanitized ad-verification diagnostics such as rejection stage, status and check outcomes for troubleshooting and security. The game does not include a separate project crash-upload or custom analytics service. Providers may also maintain their own operational and security records.
This website is delivered through Cloudflare. Website delivery and protection involve processing connection information such as IP addresses and requested pages. These pages do not add advertising or a custom analytics script. When you email support, we receive your email address, message and information you choose to provide and use them to respond, verify account ownership and handle your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, purchase tokens or authentication codes.
Who receives information
Microsoft PlayFab and Azure provide account and game-service infrastructure. Google provides Play Games authentication, Play Billing, advertising and consent services. Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Support correspondence is processed through our email service. Selected gameplay information is also disclosed to other players as described above. These are actual data transfers; we do not describe the game as collecting or sharing no data. Providers may process information under their own policies and obligations as well as their arrangements with us.
See Google's Privacy Policy, Microsoft's Privacy Statement and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Security and international processing
The application's inspected authentication, gameplay and commerce service paths use HTTPS. We use authenticated service access and limit sensitive request material in project diagnostics. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own; we do not promise that all data stays in a single region.
Retention and deletion
Account and gameplay records support the ongoing game service. Purchase and reward records also support reconciliation, duplicate prevention and security. We have not established a single fixed retention period for all record types. Claim expiry or reward acknowledgment does not automatically erase related history.
You can request deletion of your Project Starship account and associated player-linked data, even after uninstalling. We verify ownership before processing requests. Deletion covers linked game data under Collapsar Studios' control. Shared competitive records and outstanding transactions may require reconciliation to protect other players and prevent duplicate grants. We may retain only narrowly necessary transaction, security, fraud-prevention or legally required records, restrict their use and explain applicable exceptions. We do not promise instant or universal erasure. Google, Microsoft and other providers may separately retain records under their own policies and obligations. Deleting your game account does not delete your Google Account or automatically request a purchase refund.
Your requests and policy updates
Contact support@collapsarstudios.com to ask about access, correction or deletion of your account information, or privacy concerns. Applicable rights depend on your location and circumstances. If you believe information about a child has been provided inappropriately, contact us so we can review it.
